Differences in employment concerns between Hispanic and Caucasian persons with multiple sclerosis: A propensity score matching analysis

BACKGROUND: Little is known about the experiences and concerns of Hispanic Americans with multiple sclerosis (MS), especially how their compare to those Caucasian MS. OBJECTIVE: The purpose this study was examine differences in satisfaction overall employment situation between two matched samples adults MS, namely, Hispanics Caucasians. METHODS: Participants responded a national survey community living people A propensity score matching (PSM) procedure used match participants based on demographic MS-related variables. RESULTS: two-sample Hotelling T2 test revealed no statistically significant between-group regarding fair treatment workplace but were observed legal rights personal-environmental resources related work. CONCLUSIONS: Implications for future research clinical practice rehabilitation counseling COVID-19 era are discussed.
